LICONY 2026 Day on the Hill Reception (Non-Members) - Albany, NY

The Day on the Hill Reception will be held on Monday, May 4 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Fort Orange Club, West Main Lounge in Albany, NY. This reception is a great opportunity for LICONY members, Legislators, staff from the Governor’s office, and staff from the Department of Financial Services to connect.

This reception qualifies as a widely attended event*, related to the duties or responsibilities of the governmental invitees. Accordingly, complimentary attendance, food, and beverages provided to public officials at this reception do not constitute a gift.

* LICONY has consulted with legal counsel and been advised that this conference qualifies as an event anticipated to be “widely attended” as defined by the Lobbying Act and the New York State Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government. To the extent that attendance at the conference is related to the attendee’s duties or responsibilities as a public official, pursuant to subdivision (j) of Section 1-c of the Legislative Law, complimentary registration fees, food and beverages provided to invited public officials do not constitute a gift. Such officials are, however, responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses, as well as for any fees for social activities in which they may choose to participate.
