Unique New York Webinar 16: Value-Added Products and Services - Exploring the Legal Landscape in New York and Beyond

LICONY is partnering with our Allied Professional firm member, Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, to present a Unique New York Webinar. This webinar will explore recent changes in statewide anti-rebating laws, namely those since 2020. Many states have adopted exemptions to age-old anti-rebating prohibitions within their unfair trade practice laws. These exceptions permit insurers to offer certain value-added products and services (“VAPs”) or wellness programs, so long as specific state requirements are met, including a nexus exists between the VAP and the underlying insurance product. This presentation will address these New York State-specific requirements and national trends. It will also cover New York’s relevant laws and regulatory guidance regarding both VAPs and wellness programs.

There will be time at the end for questions and discussion. If you would like to submit your questions in advance of the webinar, please email Liz Maxwell.
